Unconditional Waiver and Release on Final Payment (California)

What the statute says this form is for

Section 8138 sets out this form for a waiver and release given in exchange for, or to induce, a final payment where the claimant asserts in the waiver that it has in fact been paid the final payment. The statute requires the Notice to Claimant to be in at least as large a type as the largest type otherwise in the form.
